About the event

Hi Folks,

Please join us for our pop-up season kick off event! Pedalin' Fools is excited to be partnering with Nature's Pace Adventures to bring you this collaborative event. Have you heard of the theraputic practice of Forest Bathing? We will be meeting at our pop up location at 4 High Street, North Andover, MA, and ride 3.5 miles to the Rolling Ridge Retreat Center. Once there; local entrepenuer Christine Cohne (sounds like Coney), of Nature's Pace LLC, will introduce us to the practice of Forest Bathing with a 15-20 minute introductory session.  We will then return on our route to the Davis and Furber Mills complex.  Good Day Cafe (in the East Mill), and Green Apple Cafe (around the corner at 57 Water Street) are both great options for an apre ride nosh!

While the ride is intended for riders of all ages and abilities, we do ask that all riders be able to maintain the posted ride pace.

Average ride speed for this ride will be between 10-12 mph.

Ride route: the ride route will be a combination of paved and gravel roads.  We will be utilizing public streets, so participants should be comfortable with this.

Ride length: total ride length will be 7 miles.  There will be an extended stop at 3.5 miles as well as many points of interest along the route to include; Weir Hill and Steven's Pond, Marbleridge Winery, views of Lake Cochichewick, and the sculpture gardens at the Rolling Ridge Center.

Class I & II pedal assist ebikes are allowed on all Pedalin' Fools group rides, provided they can be operated within the safe parameters of the group.

Directions:

From Rte 495: take exit 101/102, follow exit 101 to Sutton Street; follow Sutton Street to High Street, turn right; follow High Street to 4 High Street. There is limited street parking on High Street, as well as a few Visitor parking spaces in the lot next to Stacheys Pizza. Please be respectful of the marked visitor spots.

The ride will be leaving the parking lot promptly at 7:30 AM.
