We will gather at the Amesbury Filling Station before taking a hike up the stairs to the Garrison Trail. From there we will walk the trail to the lookout on the John Greenleaf Whittier Bridge for the sunrise at 7:21 AM. Total round trip is approximately one mile.

Please note: WE will be toasting the sunrise with a special libation that we created many years ago (as seen in photos). We are not encouraging anyone else to join us in our annual tradition, but those who are 21+ are welcome to participate. We will also have mulled cider available for those folks who prefer a non-alcoholic beverage to start their day. You may also bring whatever you would like to welcome the sunrise, provided it's legal, of course.

Dress accordingly for wind and winter. Snow, ice, and/or rain will cancel this event.
